Is Rockstar Writers® a standard-based program?
Yes! It is aligned with the CCSS (Common Core State Standards). If you need alignment with your state standards, please feel free to contact us below.
How can I access my materials?
At the checkout, you should have created an account. With that information, you can log in here -> https://rockstarwriters.com/login, and this will take you to your account tab. Also, you should have received an email that will have access to your account as well. Check your junk or spam folders! What type of instructor can use Rockstar Writers®?
Rockstar Writers® is ideal for any educator, whether a homeschool parent, teacher, or substitute. With scripted lesson plans and instructional videos to pop in at any time, you will know what to say when teaching each skill. With the organization and the labels on each lesson, you can easily find what you need.
Can Rockstar Writers® be used for remote and in-person learning?
Yes! We offer both printable and digital resources for the program. We also have mini-lesson videos that can be used remotely or in person.
What is your Refund Policy?

What grade levels can use Rockstar Writers®?
We offer grades 1-8.
What if I want some of the resources, but not all of them?
The Step-by-Step Writing® Programs are sold on Rockin Resources. However, this is the only place you can get the powerful combination for success with all three components (digital and printable programs, instructional videos, and training). https://rockinresources.com/shop
Are the grade-level bundles different enough for school-wide use?
This program was designed with schools and districts in mind. The Rockstar Writers Informational Pamphlet shows all the similarities, differences, and modifications, as well as the progression of grade-level skills. We believe in repetition, a research-based strategy. In brief, all programs use the writing process, so there will be some similar lessons. However, they are aligned to each essay and grade level with different modeling, examples, practice, prompts, mentor text, passages, rubrics, and checklists specific to each grade level.
Troubleshooting: What if I am having trouble downloading or opening the materials?
1. Please work from a computer, not a tablet or phone.
2. Make sure you have a strong wifi connection when downloading.

Troubleshooting: What if I am having trouble printing my materials?
First, follow the directions in the question about downloading. If you are on a Mac, try viewing it in Adobe Reader, not “Preview.” Another suggestion is to click “print as image.” Contact us if you are still having trouble. info@rockinresources.com
Can primary students cut out the interactive pages?
The interactive pages in the primary grades are easier to cut out. There are simple shapes, mostly flaps. The title is included in the shape to reduce the cutting time.
What if my students have difficulty taking notes?
Not all students can take notes, so we have it covered! You have a choice of what works best for your students.

4. Mini-anchor charts are included with all the notes.

Can the program be used without interactive notebook pages?
Yes! The whole program can be used without interactive notebook pages. If you want your students to have a reference, a student resource guide can be printed, or you can print out the mini-anchor charts to place in a notebook or folder for each group or the writing center.
Can I use the digital and printable at the same time?
Yes! You can use digital and printable at the same time. The same content is included in both programs. However, the digital program has extra practice. There are self-check PowerPoints and Google Slides for the skills in each unit. You can place these in a writing center for practice!
