We had 25 teachers attend the training. I really want to appreciate all you do for teachers. The workshop was awesome. Working with you and your resources had made creative writing easy and fun for teachers and their learners. Thank you so much. I have also used this program with more than 300 children. They are always excited when we use the program. It also help them with the writing skills taught and put them into practice. Thank you again!

Where do I begin? Everything in this unit is effective, easy to use, and FUN! My students who used to dread writing, now ask if we can start with writing first thing in the morning. This has been a GAME CHANGER! I am so impressed with how these lessons have supported my students' writing. They are writing beautiful paragraphs. I cannot wait to grade their first Narrative essay in just a few weeks! (Said no teacher ever...until now!!)! Word caught on and our fourth-grade team and second-grade team ended up purchasing their own versions after seeing how well it was working in third grade. The few times that I have had questions, I have asked on the Facebook page and 'Rockin Resources' has responded within hours! AMAZING!

Wow! My students struggled with writing until I found Rockstar Writers. They are so excited about writing now and their writing has improved tremendously! I am so happy I stumbled across this program. My favorite part of the lessons are modeling and mentor text! Students get to watch each writing skill build into an effective essay. This is a comprehensive program that is student and teacher-friendly. It kept me (and my students) completely organized. Everything is numbered, labeled, and assembled in an order that is easy to follow. On top of that, the training and all the extras will give anyone confidence to teach writing!

We used the writing program with a variety of ages. The way the program is designed, there are a variety of ways you can differentiate for the students and their different abilities. We had gifted students and struggling writers, and none of them felt like they were missing out on anything. In other programs I have used, the struggling students didn’t have rich content or engaging lessons. For my gifted students, sometimes it just felt like extra work. What I loved about this writing program is that the content is very very rich, in particular the mentor text and modeling. They were really able to connect to the text and their writing experience. It made their writing much more dynamic. My struggling writers grew so much in their writing ability. This program is hands down one of the best writing programs that’s out there. It’s so well organized. Everything is laid out for you.

I wasn’t really happy with what our district wanted to use for writing curriculum. I was piecing one different programs together and it wasn’t working for my class. I came across the step by step writing program and fell in love with it. I needed something systematically stepped out for me and easy to follow. It is so easy and the kids love it! It’s been one of the best purchases for my classroom. Since using this program, I’ve had a lot of success. My class was in the top 3 out of 8 elementary schools after the SC state test. I had one student who I couldn’t get to write more than 5 sentences at a time start writing 2.5 pages! She’s not afraid of writing anymore. As a teacher, I’m not afraid of writing anymore either. It used to be a big hurdle for me. There are so many resources within this program. Pam is always accessible to help too! I think we should hire her!

Rockstar Writers has been such a game changer in our class this year. Last year, I noticed my students didn’t even know how to write one sentence on their AIMS writing test. This year we decided to implement this program. All of my students said that they used 5 paragraphs in their essay, including things like alliterations, onomatopoeias, and million dollar words. They went from being reluctant writers and crying about writing to loving writing time thanks to this program!
